Located in Toronto’s Kensington Market, Red Pepper Spectacle Arts is a non-profit, community arts organization focussed on individual expression, collaborative endeavours and community celebrations, establishing a creative home for a growing number of emerging and established artists, organizational partners and colleages.

Red Pepper is thrilled to launch CabaRed - a monthly series of small performances in music, theatre, spoken word and community engaged exhibitions in our studio.

Our first edition of CabaRed hosts Rakkatak that merges classical Indian rhythms and melodies with a contemporary aesthetic. The ensemble includes Anita Katakkar - Tabla; Oriana Barbato - Bass Guitar; Pratik Rao - Vocalist, and Zaynab Wilson - Cahon. All are welcome for a sneak peek of new works before heading into recording of their 3rd full length album “Catcha”. “
